Milestone Celebrated with Reflection, Vision and Awards

Last Monday the 23rd of July, was a significant date for the team from Ray White Cranbourne, with their annual retreat at Sandhurst Golf Club, coinciding with the eighth anniversary of Mark Guthrie’s ownership of the business.

Mark opened the retreat with a reflective presentation on the growth of the Cranbourne office, from humble beginnings with limited resources, through to the present day. Mark covered each stage of his eight year journey, reflected on the changing marketplace, and how his team had contributed to his goal of being Cranbourne’s market leader.

The retreat and celebrations included an array of high profile guest speakers, flown in from across the country to ensure a fun, motivational, educational and inspiring time was had by all.

Legendary AFL player, coach and Hall of Fame inductee, Tommy Hafey, was a highlight of the retreat, presenting his life story and motivating everyone with his anecdotes of what can be achieved with discipline, training and a healthy living regime.

Another hot topic for the retreat was body language, with Brisbane based expert, Pat Stanley, instructing the team on how to read further into the body language cues of clients during negotiations and meetings to ensure the best outcome from every business transaction. Cutting edge technology and training were also discussed during the day.

The retreat also presented Mark with an opportunity to highlight and celebrate award winners for the 2011/12 financial year. The annual Salesperson of the Year Award went to “Team Dewan” for the forth consecutive year, with the team also acknowledged for their annual record breaking effort. The Director’s Award, for the individual who made the biggest impact on the business for the year, went to, Maree Gladstone, for her work in property management.

“The busy day was enjoyed by all, and ensures that everyone is equipped with the motivation, resources and inspiration to ensure another record breaking team effort in 2013,” commented Mark.

A celebratory dinner concluded proceedings, and ensured that the eighth anniversary, award winners and overall team effort was deservedly acknowledged.
