Local Market Update October 2016

By Customer Care

The sales department were busy as usual with 44 listings for the month of October, the best result for the year and a solid 29 sales for the month also. The stand out for the month was Paul and his team writing over $100,000 in commission for the month. The rest of the team performed very well for the month and Jen achieved her first listing and is settling in well. The team have been extremely busy this month with some very well attended open homes and plenty of activity following too. If you are considering selling this year you had better be quick as time is running out, give our team a call today to get your home on the market and sold this year.
The year might be coming to an end but the rental department isn’t slowing down. The BDM team were very busy and Jayde is settling in well. Talia was new to our team this month in the leasing department in a full time role after transitioning from a weekend hostess role conducting open homes. Our letting numbers were down this month from last month, this was in part due to the reduction in applications processed during the month being 271 down by more than half from our PB number last month. The property management award for the month was this month again won by Catherine and Abbey, well done again ladies.
Brett Stanley has joined our office in a Loan Market role and will be working with our landlords to ensure they are getting the most out of their home loans. As we all know rates have dropped considerably over the last few years but many landlords are still on old higher rates. Brett will be working with our landlords to ensure they have the best deal in the marketplace. We welcome him to the team and look forward to the results in the coming months.

Until next month,
