Local Market Update November 2015

The run to Christmas is upon us and the team at Ray White Cranbourne have been busy in November again. The sales department had a very productive month of listings with in excess of 40 for the second month in a row. This is an outstanding result especially considering the market for listings is still quite tight and buyer demand remains strong. Sales numbers were also good with a sale a day completed and over $11 million of stock sold during the month. The stand outs for the month in sales were both Kate and Chaminda in a month of consistent activity for the whole team. Days on market remained low for the month confirming strong buyer interest.

The rental department had a consistent month with over 200 applications taken for the month and lettings although a little slower than previous months still came in just under one per day. This is quite good considering there were over 40 lettings last month. The BDM team were extremely busy and set a new PB with a good mix of properties coming from current landlords previously with other companies moving over to us and also landlords with new properties finished being built. The rental department were busy with the normal routine inspections and also 30 rent increases for the month. This is an often forgot part of property management but so important to ensure our landlords are getting the best return on their investment.

The winners for the property management award this month were Bree and Cara with great numbers and lots of hard work paying off.

It’s not long now to Christmas and we expect to remain busy right up to the last moment.
